Shear Kits

Two-way high flow for demolition and processing attachments.

HKX Shear kits provide double-acting hydraulic power for tools that must open and close under load. The complete system can include preformed tubing, ball valves, flange connections, controls, electrical components, mounting hardware, and machine-specific instructions.

The published configuration is sized at 60 percent of two-pump flow at approximately 35 feet per second and uses 5,000 PSI-rated hoses. Attachment specifications and excavator capability determine the final flow, pressure, and control setup.

Attachment Applications

Support high-flow attachments that work in both directions.

Shear circuits are intended for compatible two-way attachments after operating flow, pressure, return, and auxiliary requirements are confirmed.

Shears

Open and close compatible demolition and material-processing shears.

Crushers & Pulverizers

Power compatible open/close crushers and concrete pulverizers.

Augers

Operate compatible bidirectional augers, with case drain added where the attachment requires it.

Other High-Flow Tools

Support other two-way high-flow applications after HKX engineering review.

Application & Installation Planning

Match the system to the excavator and attachment.

Accurate machine and attachment details help HKX identify the appropriate circuit, components, controls, routing, and installation support.

  1. 01
    Identify the excavator

Provide the manufacturer, model, serial number, current hydraulic equipment, and any relevant machine options.

  2. 02
    Define the attachment

Confirm the attachment make and model, required functions, flow, pressure, case drain, and connection requirements.

  3. 03
    Select controls and routing

Review operator controls, oil sources, component placement, boom and arm routing, and service-access needs.

  4. 04
    Prepare and support the installation

Use the packaged components and instructions, with HKX technical assistance available for installation and future parts identification.
